Co-founder of Polygon sets up Web3 talent development program

Polygon founder Sandeep Nailwal and venture capital firm Symbolic Capital have just announced the launch of the Nailwal Fellowship program to financially support 10 builders from Web2 to Web3 each year.

According to the information , this program is suitable for all Web3 builders regardless of gender and geographic region. Each individual participant will also be given the option of a number of work and direct networking opportunities in New York, San Francisco, Dubai and India.

The Nailwal Fellowship only accepts applications from May to early June each year. An interview process will also be conducted at the end of June to select 10 individuals for each batch from August to January of the following year.

The prolonged bear market has slowed down investment in crypto startups. This creates an increasingly risky environment for those wanting to participate in Web3.

Nailwad further shared in an interview with CoinDesk : “It's not just about funding a startup. It's also not an investment fund or anything but a source of support for individuals at a very, very early stage. Some of them may not even have a startup idea and just want to explore more.”

Nailwal fellowship is targeting individuals who want to build Web3, not teams. Each individual Nailwal Fellows will be granted $50,000 and mentored through Symbolic Capital.

If a builder sets up a company within a year of the fellowship, Nailwal and Symbolic Capital will ask for $50,000 under the SAFE agreement and the security token so investors can cash in on the assets on the terms agreed. favorable.
